I upgrade my spreadsheet about EVE echoes has not posted anything yet
It's a wreck and as more players get on, it is going to be even more bombarded with small lots that actually need to get hidden behind appropriate market tools. I don't care that there are 5,000 plenty of 10 items at 100 ISK each. I care that I can't purchase 50k without going through the buy process 5,000 times -- once for every one of those lots. And their estimated prices are useless. Yours are better, but with just point in time s****ing, it can only be really great without them exposing the information. (Better than my"by eye" quotes that are even less frequent -- I upgrade my spreadsheet about two times a week)
As for the estimated pricesI only updated the algorithm I use to make the sell/buy rates. I believe it's a tiny bit better at fitting what people are expecting. Let me know if they seem better to you.Wells make sure you suggest they include an API for the marketplace data. It's better that they do it for real than promote s****ing or other procedures, IMO.Of course, the recent video made it seem as they couldn't even determine corporate logs; the sector is larger than that. Heh.
I've been working on this website to reveal price histories for all of the things in Eve Echoes. I only have history for the past week or so. I'm likely to keep on advancing with this, so if anyone has feedback I'd love to hear it!The volumes are of what? Trades? If this is so, I've looked at some items that I exchange and I have sold way in excess of the proposed volumes in the last two days. Where are you getting the information?
You can see my other comment, but I am just estimating volume based on comparing the amount of sells/buys every time I check each thing (and trying to keep an eye on orders that are exactly the exact same both times). It certainly under-estimates the volumes due to trades that are made and fulfilled in between those two checks. It's maybe more helpful to be able to see comparative data for the time being. Also, the numbers you see will be for ~3 hour ranges (I already have a TODO to add up the last day's worth of numbers), which could explain why they seem low. For those who have better ideas about how to judge it, I would love to hear them! That was just the best way I could think of to check given the data that I have.
How can you get this information, especially on volume?Volume is merely estimated, but it's basically just calculated by assessing the number of buy/sells for a given item vs. the last time I checked for that merchandise. For the other data, I am essentially just scratching the data from the game. I'm unsure exactly what's allowed, so I'm not sure if I should give out more details. As a fellow developer (full pile ) I would love to find out more about how you did that! I'd downloaded wireshark to try myself but I am afraid my current knowledge ends there. Was looking into inspecting the packets but that is as far as I've gotten.
